There are no mandates in a free society. There is only choice.
Mandates are tested during pan-level events, i.e., pandemics, under the ideology of “Public Health.”
The ideology of “Public Health” has been a subject of this blog going back to 2017.
The last pandemic—the 1918-1920 Spanish Flu pandemic—also used mandates. People protested the same Public Health orders, in 1920 as in 2020. Anyone who declined to wear a mask was labelled “a dangerous slacker.“
A recent Public Health survey on masking claims “the public believes masks should be worn in public and enforced (with fines) by the national government.” However, the survey listed no date, no methods or raw data, and no author. Those who disagreed were called “dissenters.”
As freedoms continue to dissolve under new restrictions, is it better to protest in the streets, fight in the courts, or change perspective?
Life is Perspective
Today, if you attempt to protest anything on the street, you will be among a group of paid protestors, who all leave at the same time to catch the chartered bus out of town. Today’s Rent-A-Riot is not yesterday’s protest. Simply log online and answer an ad for activists and you can pay your bills for the month and get a pre-made sign to hold at the protest!
Alternatively, if you attempt to tangle with the court system, you will be fighting for rights against an authority under which you have agreed to be governed.
While the Declaration of Independence states that we are all equal under the law, from the government’s perspective, it is the government that derives its authority from the consent of the governed. This means one must consent to be ruled by others.
Even if you agree with the ruler of the day on some things, you may still disagree about mandates. But the octopus that is government has you in a stranglehold with the ability to grow new arms each time you cut one off.
Mandates coalesce individual minds into a herd mind called ‘The Public.’ What if people challenged the ideology of “Public Health?” If there is no Public Health, then public health mandates are an illusion.
Governmental power is based on your consent. So what happens if you withdraw consent?
What if they called a war and nobody came?
Change Perspective
Perhaps the only real way to change the outcome when the odds appear out of balance is to change perspective. While this may sound esoteric and lofty, to change perspective results in shifting reality. If you make the premise moot (the reason for mandates) then the outcome (mandates) becomes moot.
If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. – Wayne Dyer
You do not require a law degree to understand how laws can entrap you, just as you do not need to be a scientist to know that science does not guarantee freedom. To change perspective, you only need to entertain a new way of thinking and ask some questions. Is Freedom found in The Public or in individuals? Where does choice live; with the Public or with the individual?
You can also deconstruct the language to understand words and their meanings. The expression “can’t see the forest for the trees,” means you cannot see the bigger picture because you are bogged down in the minutiae.
Science is nothing but perception. – Plato
The Forest For The Trees
If we deconstruct the words: forest and trees, we find:
The meaning is unidirectional. One (forest) includes many (trees). The forest does not exist without individual trees. Each tree is unique. Each tree is an ecosystem onto itself, able to create habitats for other life forms. Each tree communicates beneath the surface through a network of mycelium (fungal-like bacterial colony) and each exchanges carbon dioxide for life-giving oxygen. To an outside authority, however, a forest is timber to be managed and controlled as a group.
The same trap is set in “Public Health,” which does not exist outside of individuals who makes up the public. Likewise, Public Opinion, Public Safety, Public Body, and Public Perception are myths that political elites promote in order to justify a right to power. No matter how long people make up a group, there is only individual opinion, individual safety, individual bodies, and individual health.
Individuals see with their own eyes; hear with their own ears; think with their own minds; and speak with their own voices. Individuals exist in relationship to one another just as trees do. Through relationship, they build trust on an individual level.
Thus, there is no Public Trust. A Public Trust is “a legal arrangement where a trustee holds and manages assets for the benefit of the general public.“
The Public is the forest of Humanity, created for the purpose of neutralizing, homogenizing and disempowering the individual.
Individual Health
To consent to “Public Health mandates” is to give up individual, inherent rights in exchange for Government Public Rights granted by the State. (i.e., Children’s rights, Gay rights, Parent rights, Worker’s rights, Women’s rights).
First of all, rights are not gifts from government but granted by the Creator. Because we, humans, are born with rights, they never expire until we do. Alternatively, state rights can be modified, suspended, and revoked showing that they are not rights at all; only privileges.
We have all seen inherent, God-given rights abolished, under censorship, throughout history under tyrants when people consented to mandates and conformed to the herd mindset. Censorship continues today in social media, new laws, and self-censorship, from fear of standing out. FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real.
Words—both written and spoken—are powerful, because language can change perspective if you are open to seeing with new eyes. Changing perspective from group-think to self-awareness can dramatically change outcomes. For that we must “see the trees in the forest.”
We must change our perspective to recognize what social engineer, Edward Bernays, recognized in 1928 when he published his book, Propaganda. He knew that Public Relations is Propaganda, where propaganda is a means to shape individual opinions for political interests. Could that anonymous survey on masking be an example of propaganda?
The government likes to put the Public in “Public Health,” to remove choice. That’s because the Public does not choose. Only individuals do.
By taking the Public out of “Public Health,” we begin to reclaim the narrative of social engineers to maintain choice and reclaim freedom. Equally important, we avoid fighting a losing battle in the courts and on the streets.
Whenever something is proposed in the name of Public Health, the answer must be “There is no such thing as Public Health. There is only individual health.” This provides an opportunity to “nip the premise of mandates in the bud” and to preserve freedom where freedom lives; in each of us.
Freedom is not found in “The Public.” Thus, if you are free you must be an individual.
